This is a (slightly shorter) remake of the first Kirby game: Kirby's Dream Land for the GameBoy. There is no end boss to be found, and 2 levels have been merged into 1 level. This mode will take you about 30 minutes, but overall it's a good simplified remake.
8.5/10
Dyna Blade
In this mode, Kirby must navigate through 4 levels and ultimately defeat the big, evil bird Dyna Blade. This is a completely original mode with a unique story and a good end boss.
8.5/10
Gourmet Race
Kirby must defeat King Dedede again, but this time not in a direct fight, but in a race. And not just any race, but a race where you also have to eat the most. This gamemode may have the most famous Kirby song, besides Green Greens. However, I personally don't find it the most enjoyable gamemode in terms of gameplay.
7.5/10
The Great Cave Offensive
This is a Metroid-like mode. In this gamemode, Kirby must search for various treasure chests. Some chests contain items from other Nintendo games such as the Triforce from Zelda and the Screw Attack from Metroid. It is one of the longer modes of this game, which makes it more interesting for me and many other players.
8/10
Revenge of Meta Knight
In this mode, Meta Knight tries to take over Dream Land because he finds the inhabitants too lazy. Kirby must try to destroy Meta Knight's flying ship, the Halberd, within a certain time, or it's game over. This is an epic mode that concludes with a chase on the falling ship.
8.5/10
Milky Way Wishes
This is the longest mode of this game. It starts with a battle between the sun and the moon. Marx, a resident of Dream Land, tells Kirby that he must find the parts of NOVA, as NOVA can fulfill any wish. For this, Kirby must travel around 9 planets. In this mode, Kirby cannot absorb the powers of enemies. The only way to obtain such powers is with 'Copy Essence Deluxes'. This mode is (in my opinion) the main attraction of Kirby's Fun Pak. It has a unique story and even unique gameplay.
9/10
The Arena
This is a relatively simple boss rush. It consists of 19 rounds with a total of 26 end bosses. There isn't much more to say about it.
8/10
Sub games
These are the minigames of this Kirby game. This time, there is Samurai Kirby and Megaton Punch. Both are minigames based on timing. I won't give these a score, as they are just minigames.
