Unique mix of gameplay, but no save function
Jurassic Park for the Super Nintendo is an adventurous action game that takes me to the iconic island full of dinosaurs. The combination of top-down gameplay outdoors and first-person perspective indoors creates a unique mix that I haven't experienced in other games before. The atmosphere is well supported by an evocative soundtrack and visually impressive graphics for its time. The sound of roaring dinosaurs and the thrilling music complete the experience.
What I find a bit disappointing, however, is the lack of a save function. It's quite frustrating to have to start over every time I close the game. This can sometimes make it difficult to stay motivated, especially since some missions can feel repetitive. When I've just made some progress and then have to start again, it's rather annoying. Still, I do enjoy how the game captures the sense of discovery from the film.
For fans of the Jurassic Park film, the game offers a nostalgic journey to the past. However, the challenge and patience required to progress may not be suitable for everyone. While I enjoy the game for its atmosphere and graphics, a save function would significantly improve the experience.
